ABSTRACT
Hydatid cyst in the muscle or the soft tissue is rare. Herein, because of its rarity, a patient with soft tissue hydatid cyst is presented. A 69-year-old female patient was admitted to our hospital with a mass located on the left thigh for a month. Soft tissue hydatid cyst was diagnosed based on the laboratory and radiologic findings. The cystic mass was totally removed. In the endemic area, hydatic cyst should be included in the differential diagnosis of a cystic well-defined mass located in soft tissue or the muscle.
