ABSTRACT
During anatomic dissections of the cervical region, two vertebral artery anomalies were found in 62 and 80-year-old male cadavers. The left vertebral artery originated directly from the aortic arch. The origin of the right vertebral artery and the course of both vertebral arteries after their origins were normal. Such a variation should be kept in mind during surgical procedures and diagnostic or interventional radiological applications in this region
