ABSTRACT

Jejunal diverticulosis and associated complication of diverticulitis and perforation of the diverticulum are extremely rare and are among the causes of acute abdomen especially in the elderly. Computed tomography is very important in the diagnosis of the disease, differential diagnosis of other acute abdominal causes, determination of complications and patient management. We present a case of jejunal diverticulitis who presented with acute abdomen and was operated in accordance with radiological imaging.
