ABSTRACT

Conclusion:

Pediatric congenital heart surgery in surgical applications are hosting many challenges for anesthetists.

Results:

A total of 84 patients were included in the operation. The study population consisted of 53(63.09%) male and 31(36.91%) female children and 60.71% (51) of them were one year old. While the number of patients was 53 under ten kilograms, the most frequently performed operation was ventricular septal defect(30.90%).

Methods:

Following ethical approval(224/2016), patients undergoing congenital heart surgery between February 2015 and 30 April 2016 were retrospectively reviewed.

Objective:

Undergoing surgery for congenital heart disease in pediatric patients aimed to be investigated.
