Congenital adrenal hyperplasia is a group of autosomal recessive disorders characterized by impaired cortisol synthesis. Dysregulation of corticotropin synthesis often leads to increased synthesis of adrenal androgens. Low fertility is often and troublesome condition in patients with congenital adrenal hyperplasia.
